OK that's enough I work for Argos and I see thousands of catalogues every year. Marvellous? seriously though it is one of the most read books if not the most read in the country. Me I always go for the technology pages, Computing MP3 etc. Then the televisions, sad person that I am.

Is Argos one of those stores that makes a certain class of Britons happy? I was on my way to work on the second half of Christmas and saw people queueing up outside the Argos store where I live. Thought it was a sale, but later on, was told most of the people bought their kids and themselves presents, but couldn't read the instructions. Honest. So is it good because you can smash up your purchase trying to get it working, and still get your money back?
