A psychological ploy by designers to get us to part with cash so we all feel we are up to date with what is hip only to be conned into parting with more cash within a couple of weeks cos what we should now be wearing is something different.And if you don't you are sooooo last season according to the fashion police.In short money for them and the retailers and pressure for us to keep up and fit in.(not me.I am still wearing clothes i bought 10 years ago)
