It's supposed to get up to 47 degrees here today. I can already see clumps of snow falling out of the trees.

If the temperature increases to 47 degrees, 4 inches of snow will melt really quick. Hate to say but maybe in 1 day

Depends on location and temperature.

On Valentines Day 2004 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, we've had 4 inches of snow. All that melted within a 24-hour period.

It really depends on the temperature there. If it is freezing or below it might be quite a while before the snow even starts to melt. If it is just slightly above freezing, it could take a while.

it depends on outside temperature and the amount of sun rays that come in contact with snow. but if i had to guess, with a clear sky....less than 8 hrs. i really dont know, i live where if it did snow the end of the world is near, (south texas)

Depends on many variables - the land it fell onto, the temperature, the type of snow, wind, precipitation...

Anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks.
