It is true that the sound of one's own name is the sweetest sound on earth, but if you want to pick a pet name you might could 'customize' his own name. I nickname most of the guys I date, but sometimes only use those nicknames when I'm talking about him with friends. Sometimes the guy likes the nicknames...sometimes not. I called one guy the 'B man' for various reasons (his first name starts with B), another nickname was chosen b/c of his occupation, another his 'alledged' religious beliefs (choir boy). Be imaginative and you'll see the spark in his eye when you've chosen the right one. Try calling him various nicknames until you think you've found a good match for him and then it'll stick. I have a whole list of sarcastic nicknames too that I use when the relationship is over...you'll develop your own list of those too. Good Luck & Have fun

Honestly, ever since there was a such thing as a boyfriend or girlfriend/love..whichever it may be in your case. As for my and my love..I call him my Papa Bear and u can guess what he calls me. We are completely happy with these lovable names.

being cool is being different. dont use commonly used names they are burned out. my girlfriend and i call each other: loser, fag, love, try his baby name everyone used to be called sumthing when they were a baby. if you think hes hot call him hot or hotass

those are the only ones that my b/f calls me.
think of something that he likes to do, etc...make one up...the guy i dated before this one called me "my little flutterbee" because I have a butterfly tattoo.
