I have seen many saudis around college and almost 100% are drinkers but they say that they dont have any liquor store back in their country so they drink home made moonshine instead.....if there are many people who drinks why the stupid country bans selling alcohol drinks???

Lets see, They chop off the heads of prisoners of war. They chop off body parts of criminals, they beat their women, make them wear tents, are able to lie to non muslims according to their religion........But they can't drink ETOH???
Wake up, we are in a war with all of Islam, and the sooner people wake up to it, the sooner we can put an end to it.

I thought drinking Alcohol is forbidden by Islam. And Saudi is a religious police state. They are exactly the kind of government the US speaks of as evil. OH and the goverment is completely autonomous meaning they have no taxes because they OWN all the oilfields, therefore they don't need the people to operate and seemingly don't care for them either.

Drinking alcohol in Saudi Arabia is viewed the same way as plural marriage is in the US. The culture of Saudi Arabia does not accept the drinking of alcohol, just as polygamy is banned in the US.

Alcholic Beverages and narcotics are banned in most Islamic countries. I see nothing stupid about having near zero DWI/DUI's related incidents and fatalities.

They ban the fermented grape or grain, according to the Koran. So beer and wine are out. One can still drink mead or potato vodka I think.

because they make more profits by smuggling it than officially selling in stores.
