Music saved my life;From a very early age(4-7),every time I heard it something stirred inside me-I was the recipient of something magical,(This was 1958-'61,& ocurred w/ all types of music;classical,jazz,R&B,pop etc.)
Then it occured to me I oculd be a participant in the creation of that magic by joing w/ thsoe of whom created it by playing an instrument.I found I had an aptitude for it.Learnig the secrets was somehow easier for myself than the others around me.I fell in love,I couldn get enough, I needed a bigger spoon to feed my soul-it fulfilled me.I've heard that some artist's felt they didn't have a choice,it was in them & had to come out.This was my case.
I could go on but....I hope this wasn't too tedious.

I love music & listen to it daily. I think that for the artist it's a release of emotion, expression of their feelings & beliefs & a projection of their life (among other things I'm sure). I especially love bands that have real raw talent. I enjoy listening to people with incredible voices, & can play real instruments. I'm not too fond of computer enhancement, although do enjoy it sometimes in dance music.
