question: it has left 2 red lines on rear quarter and shallow scratch.how best to remove red paint and fill scratch. my paintwork has laquered finish.

You can remove the paint transfer with a good compound wax. Repair the scratch with a touch-up paint if it is not too large. Your compound wax will help blend it in to the old paint. If it still looks bad, you may have to repaint the whole panel.

You could buy some Tcut or use Brasso, rub out the paint to the level of your own assess the depth of the graze, buy a pot of touch up paint of your colour gently fill in the scratch ;let it harden off a couple of days rub down with very fine sandpaper making sure that you have the paper folded in such a way that you only rub the scratch, blend in, if it needs more build up again repeat then tcut and polish , be patient do not rush into it .

use a cutting compound like farecla G3 to take off the red paint then touch up the scratch with paint and laquer.polish the areas you have used the cutting compound on as it will leave the paintwork exposed.

Try using t cut ,it normally works .
