i just received my 1st violation for what giving my opinion about black people bitching about being forced to live in the usa i said they have everything in the usa and should be happy how long would a black person last if they went back to africa? without money cars houses FOOD hair weaves and nails hmmm they would beg to come back to the usa also im from the uk and we call them black not african english

And do not attempt to get justification from YA either. Enough people complain and the YA system sends out the notice, not even checking if the complaints are justified or not. I totally agree with you in the fact that how is it that people complain about living anywhere, especially the USA. If it is that bad for black people in the US, then leave, go back to Africa and see how terrible it really is. In addition, what the black people fail to remember is that it was black people in Africa who started the slave trade. It was already a booming business well before the arrival of white explorers, but that amazingly is forgotten. In addition, those black people who are alive today did not have to suffer through the being captured and sold by their black "brothers" nor shipped across the ocean nor having to be slaves. Hence they appear to be attempting to capitalize on the sorrows of their ancestors. However, since my ancestors were no better than slaves in the UK (which I do not live now) and other countries in Europe, then do I have the right to complain and feel that I have been hard done by? No, I must get on with my life and look to the future and not the past of my great grandparents.
In addition, that whole name thing drives me nuts. There is African American, African Canadian, etc. If Africa means that much to you, then go back and stop being an American. Either you are part of this nation or you are not. However, if they really want to be called that from now on, then they need to start calling other people European American, or English American, or French American. I wonder if they can understand how childish they actually sound by doing that. They are having a temper tantrum and if you say anything they pull the race card out and get your answers banned, etc. Well people, there is more racial discrimination against white people world wide than ever could be against blacks, so welcome to reality. The world is NOT fair and we only can make the world around us as fair as possible and hope that spreads.

You are free to express your opinion. They are free to be offended by it.

I look at violations as someone else's way to express that sense of offense, I but don't get too worried about it. I suspect that yahoo has the process automated, and no living person even looks at the list of violations.

My first violation was for suggesting that the little twerp do his own homework, rather than post it on YA as a question. I protested it, which got me exactly nothing. Now I shrug and move on. I don't go out of my way to offend people, but I don't try to sugarcoat things, either. If someone has a thin skin, I don't worry about it - they'll grow one soon enough, or else will have to live in a permanent state of being offended, I guess.

I don't feel like you should have gotten a violation for expressing your opinion, but you need to realize that there are white, black native american, oriental, hispanic and others in the USA who are starving or just getting by because of their heritage. Granted, some are just lazy. Others would do anything to have an education, a job.....a life. You don't seem to be wanting for anything. Make a donation to one of the many minority charities. It'll do your heart good. And it will help someone. Or don't you want to help?

Yes, alot of blacks are better off in the USA than in Africa. However, some didn't have any choice in the matter. better off does not equal happy. Besides, some black people are not treated fairly in this country, that is a fact. of course, some black people blow that out of proportion and blame that instead of themselves as to why their lives are in the toilet, but that is their problem.

Have you met all the black people in the U.S.A.? Have you spent much time in the large cities of the U.S.A.?
Black people don't have everything. And many people of other races are hurting too.
Please don't form opinions about what it's like here in the U.S. based on movies and television, and I'll try not to do that about life in the U.K.

I am tired of hereing people calling people racists for giving THEIR opinion.I find that MOSTLY blacks do the complaining and reporting.

welcome to what is know as "freedom of speech", but what do you know about being black and living in the US? EVERYONE should be happy they don't live in an impoverished country, and white people wear weave all the time, get with the program.
