You need to find a new doc as you are having problems that the doc is not addressing. Even if you are not pregnant you are having problems like missed period, dizziness and mood swings etc that need to be checked out. Find a new doc if yours won't at least help you figure out what is going on.

If it was an ectopic pregnancy and you were 3 months on you would certainly know about it. They cause a great deal of pain and rarely, if ever, reach the 3 month stage. Late periods can be caused by dieting, being underweight, stress. Are you suffering from any of these? There is also the phantom pregnancy that can be caused if you desperately want a baby and have not conceived one. All the symptoms are the same as a normal pregnancy. I would make an appointment with a different doctor, if you can, and explain your worries. It sounds strange that your doctor is refusing to explore the possibilities any further. Do you have a history of making unnecessary appointments? It may be that require a different type of help from say a therapist, but your doctor should explain why she refuses to treat you any more so that you can understand where and what your problem really is. If you are unhappy about the way you have been treated by this doctor you can always ask for an appointment with the practice manager and tell him/her what has been happening. That is their job and I am sure they can find out what is happening for you.

i have a doctor who is pretty dismissive just as your's is and I know how frustrating it is and how bad it can make you feel. I would suggest seeing another doctor, or even maybe looking up on the internet or phonebook to see if there is any "well women" type clinics in yoru area. The fact you are getting morning sickness, dizziness etc should not be ignored as it means something is wrong, i am appauled at Doctors these days, it makes me so angry. You are not being a Hypocondriac, you are not well and it sounds like these symptoms are persisting. No test is 100% acuarate and even if you may not be pregnant perhaps there is another reason for your symptoms. Please see someone else that can help you. Best of luck x

Keep going back, it is your body and you feel something is not right. Are you wanting to be pregnant? If so it could be a phantom pregnancy. Another issue is your age, could you be menopausal?
