don't make clocks out of them, please. cash value can only be determined by the age, condition and rarity of the recording. if you don't like to play them sell them to an antiques dealer or find a collector. there a lot of 78's around but they are diminishing. they're a piece of recording history. please don't discard them. e-mail me a list. i'd like to see what you have.

Don't throw them out (unless they are in rough condition) until you do some research. I would guess they could be 78's and people are still looking for them. There are many record collectors out there but the records have to be in good shape. Browse the Want Ads or Want It Now for record collectors looking for items to buy. Sometimes the album cover can be worth more than the record itself. The Goldmine magazine is a record collectors info magazine start looking there.

Don't make clocks out of them until you find their value.

Try to find a record collector or put them on Ebay. Also check out auction sites
