why have some of my albums gone from my library they are still there but do not show up in the media centre?

My music is stored in an external hard drive and recently some albums have dissapeared from the library but are still in the hard drive how do I get them back into windows media player??? help please

make a playlist and put the mising albums on it. once you've done this they'll show up in 'my library' and you can delete the playlist.
