I enjoy to discuss views and opinions on Civil War reenacting with others. Seems like you never really talk to others outside of your unit. Tell me what your views are.
What are your favorite events?
What does your uniform consist of?
What are your favorite sutlers?
When was your most "period" moment?

Things like that. Let me know and we'll talk.

Thank you all

Went to Washington Court House and several other reenacting events. was part of the 19th Indiana Volunteers Co. F part of the Iron Brigade. typical Union uniform with the " tall black hat with plume. carried a .58 cal Remington Zouave Rifle. used Yeck Antique Firearms. the most period moment was when the entire reactivated Iron Brigade went to Washington Court House for a reenactment Battle there. was back in the Civil War 1963 to 1965 period of time. had a good time until circumstances caught up with me and had to quit but thought I'd respond. the funnest time was during this period when the entire Brigade went to eat at a restaurant while in Virginia and we had all our plumed hats on hat racks and we were in uniform when a sweet Grandmotherly type Southern Lady came in to eat along with her family and saw all of us. She went berserk and said " blank blank Yankees I thought we got rid of them blank blank years ago. " needless to say her family didn't pay for their meal. She was a sweetheart after getting over the surprise of seeing the entire Iron Brigade.
