Actually the majority of the earthquakes occur because of the subduction zone off the Californian shore, but since it is not technically a fault it would be best to say the obvious answer-San Andreas

In terms of length, it's probably the San Andreas. In terms of potential energy, I'd guess either the San Mateo or the San Bernardino
You might see if the USGS has a web site with fault info on it.
