Almost everything! At one time, grocers, butchers, produce farmers, guys who fixed pots and pans, sharpened your scissors, you name it, all came to you in carts - they'd go up and down the streets and you ran out and caught them if you wanted anything, kind of like the ice cream trucks do now.
