Fiscal Year End Date : 12/31/06

I need a formula that will tell me that the time in between is 4 years and 305 days. Please help thanks

Let's say the hire date is in cell A1 and the fiscal year-end date is in cell B1. Then in C1 enter the following formula:

=INT(YEARFRAC(A1,B1,1))

In D1 enter the following formula:

=(YEARFRAC(A1,B1,1)-C1)*365

Format C1 and D1 as numbers with 0 decimal places.

Now C1 and D1 will be the number of years and days between the date in A1 and the date in B1
