Less than half of our population ppl. And of that number, less than 35% actually have used it at lest once. What does that mean to you?

Ciara, so what you are saying is that in the the US, wich is the world's super power and the best place to live on earth, more than half of it's population is poor?

It means that people are content with their small towns and their small lives, and seeing the same thing everyday! I think its sad. Sure there are lots of places to go here in the states, but its still the states. Get worldly people! See some things, get a different perspective! Its good for you!

It means we live in a really big country. The continental US is four time zones across. From London to Saint Petersburg is three time zones. Why would you get a passport when you have no intention of leaving the country.

I have a passport and I have used it on a trip to England and Ireland.

It costs alot to travel, and most Americans have never been out of the states as a result.

The United Staes is a very big country ... perhaps you've noticed that. Most people have no need to leave our great country. I bet only 25% have ever left their state. It means people are largely content where they are.

well less than half of the american population is probably not wealthy enough to travel outside the states.

It means we don't have the money to travel so we don't need a passport

idk, but everyone in my family has a passport and has two pages left for stamping
