What are we doing wrong and how can we fix it? this is totally unacceptable in our country. What do you think?

In terms of percentage of the overall population, this 754K number is relatively small. When you compare it to the Millions and Millions of folks who are living without without a home in places like India, China, Africa, South East Asia....I am not saying that we should not do anything about our own 754K but the rest of the world is in worse shape than we are. It is a human tragedy which exists every where else too. Its a result of the Rich not giving a rat's *** about the poor....that's all..Everywhere!

I don't know about the whole country, but I live by a homeless shelter and not all, but most are there because they're deadbeats. Drugs, alcohol, just plain lazy and a few crazy.
It's sad to say that that's probably the way it is everywhere.

I agree, but until the American people wake up and raise hell, the government will continue to waste money on useless wars and overspending. And every time a Republican president gets into office, they work for the rich and not the poor!

i dont know why are there so many homeless people? some want to be homeless i knew a man who was and he wanted to be that way
