Are you talking about a web e mail account or an e mail account with your ISP (internet service provider)? I will tell you how to create a web e mail account with Yahoo (just as an example). Go to the Yahoo mail sign up page. Then click on sign up. You will be taken to the sign up form. Fill it out. When you get to the place where you have to choose an e mail address, be sure and choose one that you will remember easily. Then you will choose a password. Be sure and choose one that is easy for you to remember. Then if the username is available, Yahoo will let you click on Submit and you have a Yahoo e mail account. Be sure and write down the username and passsword somewhere where you know where they are and DON'T SHOW THEM TO ANYONE. THEY COULD GET IN TO YOUR ACCOUNT IF YOU DO.
To set up an e mail account with your ISP you have to have the incoming and outgoing server settings and the ISP will give you the username that they want you to have and maybe the password too. My ISP allowed me to choose my own password but gave me the e mail address and server settings. I chose my own password.

I absolutely have a 10 year previous, too. (and a 20 year previous). She has her one digital mail account yet my rule is that I actually have her password. She is going to her dad's another weekend and that i take advantage of the e-mail to search for suggestion from from her and it really is alot of thrilling. If she's already surfing the internet (it really is the position lots of the probability is anyhow) then she must be ok w/ an digital mail b/c for the most area in effortless words ppl she is commonplace with would contact her. clarify to her to no longer open some thing that could no longer from someone she is commonplace with. wish this helps.

You should already have an email account if you are on Yahoo Answers, asking questions unless you are on someone elses account.
Yes, if you are and want to create a new account please go to
http://www.yahoo.com or .co.uk
And go to Mail, then Sign up!
You will need to be logged out of this account thought.
If this is your account then you have an email account, and you go to www.yhaoo.com and go to mail, and sign in. With your username and password. if you are having trouble please click forgot username/password.
All the best, And welcome to Yahoo Answers.

I will guess your using Outlook Express or Outlook ( the same goes for Thunderbird)...go into the program (outlook express for instance) and choose tools...accounts..and add and go from there...you'll need your servers info to fill in like POP server and such...or go into control panel...mail...add...
