The song "Somebody's Watching Me" from the 80's is often mistaken for Michael Jackson's. I know for a fact it is not him singing, although it does sound a lot like him. Could someone please name the actual artist who sings it?

Rockwell is one of Berry Gordy's children his real name is Kenneth William Gordy. Here is an excerpt from wikipedia.
"In 1984, Rockwell released his only hit single, "Somebody's Watching Me", featuring childhood friends Michael and Jermaine Jackson on guest vocals (notably in the chorus lyrics). "Somebody's Watching Me" was a Top Ten pop hit both in the US and UK, and a #1 R&B hit. Follow-up singles underperformed, however, and Rockwell soon ended his musical career with Motown."

i'm not the first, but it is indeed rockwell, with michael jackson making a cameo appearance.
interesting trivia:
"Rockwell is Kennedy Gordy, son of Motown founder Berry Gordy. Kennedy put the demo together with the help of one of a Motown producer named Curtis Nolen. Berry Gordy didn't have much faith in his son as a recording artist, but when he heard this, he knew it was a hit and agreed to release it."

Not sure of the singer, but Michael Jackson does sing the chorus. He just doesn't do the verses.
