first period after stopping the pill?

i got my first period after stopping the pill last month and it came at the regular time but it is like brown stuff on my pad . is this normal. is that my period because it is happening around the time i would get my period.

This is perfectly normal after stopping the pill or even being on the pill. You most likely didn't have enough lining to slough off to give you a heavy period and it's just "old" blood. You can expect some irregularities after stopping the pill for a few months. No need to worry.
