Call or go to the school and ask to speak to the Attendance Clerk. By law they have to tell you about your child unless you have lost parental rights. They can tell you when and if your child was absent or tardy and let you know if it was excused or not.

Contact your child's school secretary. He/She should be able to tell you that information..You can also request an attendance printout confirming what they have told you. You have to be a legal guardian or parent before they will provide that information for security reasons.

call the school, ask to talk to the teacher of the class or all the teachers (if he/she switches classes) and then get transfered to the front office. they have records of all student's attendance in their files.

Call the school. It also appears in report cards how many days the student missed each quarter.
Plus, if the student isn't at school and you didn't call them in sick, they will call you to ask you if they are sick or skipping.
