Key questions: did she have a lease or written agreement?
Where are you located? You need to look up the local landlord tenant regulations to see if the landlord has met the regulations. If she lived here, she could go to a government agency and get emergency funds to move. Also look into non-profit community-based organizations in the area that provide support to people with disabilities.

Does she own the private house? If not, you need to find a source of funds so that this person is not thrown on the streets. Since she is disabled, there may be some agency that can give help on a one time base.

Great energy has to be spent in getting your friend in an income producing mode. All of us suffer if we fail to earn an income. Most times our problems are really bad because we don't start to work on it/them until we are choked up with problems. We want to act like things will work themselves out. This is often not the case, we need to act trying to avoid the worst at all times.

Usually a person has to have violated the lease in order to be evicted. The evicted person can get an attorney to help keep the house. There are laws protecting rentors and landlords so an attorney is the best way to handle it.

Try renter's rights, she might fall under something to protect her, or get help.
