I used to buy some things from pound stores in England before I moved to the US. Sometimes there were things worth buying. Dollar stores - perhaps because of the lower value of a dollar in relation to the pound - almost never have anything worth buying.

Yes. I don't like to go often because I end up getting $30 worth of stuff I don't need! "It's only $2"! You notice not many things in the dollar store are actually $1? Why is that?

Absolutely! I love the dollar store! I buy all my cleaning supplies, paper goods, boxes of cereal, seasonal items, all occasion cards, wrapping paper....I could go on! I'm a very frugal person and If I can get something for less, I will!

Yes, I do, if I can get things for £1 why should I pay more for exactly the same thing? If you are skint then it's a great place to go for things like bleach and cleaning products.

Once in awhile. Usually I end up with a bunch of stuff I really don't need. It's kind of like shopping at a garage sale with new stuff.
