What do you think of my first website I created in college?

I've never used HTML before. Tell me what to add or what I can do to make it better!!!

Well, since you asked ... I didn't go to college but I do run several e-businesses including one to design websites for people.

1. Keep learning html so you can control your own design.

2. You have serious copyright infringement issues here.

3. What's your message? I know there must be a reason people should care about your site, in a world where there are so many others. What happened to make you want to do a tribute to them? If it's just that you had to come up with a topic for your class, then say so... but also say why you picked this topic. Compel us!

4. The background is tiled and not centered.

5. The Americana and "welcome" look like you just went through a catalog of free clipart and chose the ones that caught your eye, but they have nothing to do with the Stones.

6. Using Tripod's default navigation is causing a layout problem. You need to change the layout so the navigation takes up a whole column from top to bottom. Then it will run side by side with your pictures.

7. Your text is hard to read on that background. Put it in a table so you can put a plain background behind it, or choose a color that will show up against all those background colors.

8. Your tongue logo for clicking an album, and the "established 1962" clipart would make more sense on plain white backgrounds. You made a statement with the background on the homepage, so for your other pages, build one that is more faint & blurry, or go with plain backgrounds. If you use a white background, your logos will look more dynamic. As it is, a logo with a white background on a colored page, just looks like a "picture" of a logo.

Look at other websites and pick out what you like, then make yours better.

The Background is rubbish (No Offence), you need a free sats collecter.
But as it is your first website then good work.

I would suggest a lot more things, Like the buttons NOT on the side, on the top and the bottom e.g.

HOME | PHOTOS | INFO | CONTACT US |

Or somethings like that. Espically on the first page you need info about the site, and any updates.

I am a website devolper you see, and i have all the knowledge you need to know, i will take the email address off the webiste and email you personally.
