Such a damned idealist perfectionist than I'm actually almost nihilist.
Nothing's perfect, so the whole world is shot!
Sucks.
Trying to go for a healthy balance of optimism and realism.
Everytime I've listened to the truly optimistic people in my life, who are so unreal sometimes, I get screwed.
On the other hand, it wouldn't hurt THAT badly to try and sometimes fail.
Just need that realistic safety net, is all.

i don't know that it means it works out any differently at all
it's all just terminology anyway
because the fact is, it doesn't matter if the optimist says the glass is half full or the pessimist says the glass is half empty;
the reality of it is it is either half full or half empty
perhaps a greater question would be, is perception truly reality?

I am an optimist on some things,a pestimist,on some things and a realist on others and I think its working just fine thank you.

Realist. Sometimes works well, other times not so much. But that's life.

I am a severe pessimist. It is not working out for me. Every morning I put a .45 magnum to my temple and try to think of one reason to not die. If I run out of reasons in the morning, I will die.
