well mathematics involves a lot of applied concepts unlike other subjects where u just byheart things........so first change ur attitude towards the subject..feel that it is simple and u'll b able to solve the problem.............draw diagrams........see things visually......keep working on those problems u find r difficult........after sumtime u'll find that it is not dat bad really....i don't deny that it is difficult but still if u can put ur mind to it u can do it

About 75% of the time, it's the teacher (I can say that because I taught advanced math at a private college for many years ☺) The rest of the time it's the book, or the student (or both)
Math is something to which you may get a 'bad' introduction. I have actually seen and heard 1'st and 2'nd grade teachers tell their students, "OK kids. Time to do our math. I know you don't like it and it's hard and it's boring, but we have to do it." (It's a good thing I have a lot of self-control because I could have very easily strangled a couple of those goofy bitches)
Part of it may be that you just don't know *how* to study math. You actually should work the example problems in the book. Do every step so that you understand *what* was done and *why* it was done that way.
Then practice. Work problems. Work *more* problems. Math is like any other sport; You don't get good at it by watching someone else do it. Yeah, you'll miss a simple lay-up or strike out sometimes, but it's no big deal. Just go back and practice harder.
HTH ☺

Perhaps this is because you think that there is more to understand than there really is.
Mathematics is a series of rules that people have agreed on as a means of helping to solve real world problems. The use of the symbols + - * and / are merely a short hand was of expressing how a group of things need to be acted on to get a consistent result.
The best thing that you can do is try to memorize the rules and understand how the rules apply to at least some real world situations.
For instance the term "square" or "cube" refer to area and volume respectively. We need a consistent way to measure these things to determine how much material is required to make a pair of jeans or allow a bottle of soda to be filled properly. It is not magic. It's just rules.
High math, like calculus, is much more abstract and the problems that are solved are harder to associate with real world problems but that is what any math is ultimately used for.

Mathematics is the body of knowledge centered on concepts such as quantity, structure, space, and change, and also the academic discipline which studies them.
the above would be the Wikipedia definition of mathematics, which as you may see broadens mathematics in most every sense.
I may well be biased but I take mathematics to be more philosophical, with greater abstraction and the applications are wonderful but only upto the point when neccessity threatens to overrule curiosity.
Maths is the study of quantity, structure, space and change. It developed, through the use of abstraction and logical reasoning, from counting, calculation, measurement, and the study of the shapes and motions of
mathematics: a science (or group of related sciences) dealing with the logic of quantity and shape and arrangement
physical objects.

As such this has no longer something to do with arithmetic especially. In each situation, there are adjustments in skills among pupils. so that you'll change the note arithmetic with the different situation and convince your self. e.g how come some pupils are so sturdy in activities and some cant even .... yet coming back to the specifics. arithmetic is a noticeably prevalent situation. you could evaluate it to a progression. If the starting up is weak you would possibly want to't make a lot progression at higher stages. thankfully this perception is likewise the most to growing to be sturdy at arithmetic. in case you won't be able to understand a topic in arithmetic; attempt to bypass back and revise / relearn the options on which the region in arithmetic you're at present searching difficult; is in reaction to. ( yet frankly, the above is likewise extra or a lot less proper to the different situation.)

"It is the attitude and not the Aptitude that decides your Altitude"

Maths is not like a story which once listened and can answer every question. Its nothing but once listened twice solved. If you dont understand means you're not attentive,if you can't solve you haven't practiced.Maths is the one which solves a problem and creates ten more problem.

honestly i hate math but i can do it very well. some people just look at the problem and think about it way to hard or overlook how you are actually suppose to do it. if you just look at your notes and then do your hw it helps. i think if you have problems go to your teacher or someone else who is really good in math. math is not that hard its just time consuming.
