Why did they change daylight saving time?

Because Congress is a bunch of brain dead losers who can not help but micromanage anything and everything. Supposedly, the change will help reduce energy usage by limiting the need for lighting, but lighting is a minute fraction of one’s total energy bill. Daylight’s Savings dates back to WWI, when lighting was a major source of power usage, but this is simply not the case today. Consider Computers, AC/Heating, Appliances, etc. These are the major users of electricity and their use will not be affected by the change. Lighting is dead last!
