nat king cole had a voice that was honey smooth, and he wrote most if not all his material, on the other hand frank sinatra didn't write a single one of his hits, but his choice of songs, and his delivery of such, were par excellence. so, comparing their voices is like apples / oranges, a subjective decision to be made by each individual as is their preference.

It's comparing apples to oranges, but on pure voice quality alone, I'd vote for Nat.

Nat King Cole by far. He had this kind of "melt in your mouth" kind of voice. Its absolutly delicious to listen to, and so smooth. The do-over they did of "Unforgettable", with Natalie Cole singing with her father was wonderful.
