Its very simple....he keeps pointing out all the problems with the GOP plan. The radical right of the GOP wants total and complete obedience to their ideas with no input or correction to them no matter how incompetent the idea.
Examples:
1. Global Warming, the Bush team says its a myth.
2. Spending, Bush has BORROWED and SPENT more money than any other President in US history.
3. Foreign Policy...having the oil companies writing and directing our foreign policy is having expected results. What do you think was in those energy task force papers? Why Iraq and not North Korea or Iran? Where are those WMDs?
4. Education, Have you seen how low we have sunk in the world? The US is being left behind because of No Child Left Behind has downgraded public education to Bush's level....C student ....need I say more.
5. Future Budget woes of Medicaid and Social Security, Bush had a majority in BOTH houses for 6 years and did nothing to address this issue.
6. Faith Based Inititiatives.....DUH...enough said.
7. What EXIT STRATEGY ???? Iraq is a mess because there never was a plan to begin with. It can at best be described as Cowboy Diplomacy.
Last point..... Why did Senator McCain roll over and play dead in 2000? What did the leadership of the GOP hold over his head? Clearly, McCain over Bush in 2000 would have been better for the nation....Now McCain is a sellout and we have no real choice for Honesty and Integrity. This is a good lead in to why they hate Gore so much...maybe its the fact that Gore reminds them what the GOP is suppose to stand for, not what it has stood for since taking over Congress with the Contract with America.

With all due respect, if that is what you perceive Gore to be from where you are sitting, you must be sitting on your brain. Let's see where shall I start? How about this. Did you ever bother to find out where his wealth comes from? His family owns Occidental Petroleum. Yet he is the Oscar winning proponent of global warming propaganda. If you look up the word hypocrite there's a little picture of Al Gore. He is not just a private citizen he is a public figure making public speeches and starring in propaganda movies.
We want to look behind the curtain and see what the truth is. We don't hate the guy. Why do liberals always use that word? Can't we disagree with someones position and challenge the voracity of what they say without hating them?

The conservatives love to hate people who are not like them, but Gore is a little like them so I don't know why they hate him so much.

Because republicans are like Pavlov dogs trained by their masters to respond to certain stimuli with drooling, frothing at the mouth and satanic rage.
