Civil ceremonies can be conducted in various places, although they do have to be licensed venues, however, does anyone know wether or not a beach can be classed as a licensed venue? I'm finding it hard to find a definate answer regarding this, maybe you have or know someone who has had a *GAY* wedding on a beach or have had one yourself. I would be really appreciative of any information anyone can forward on to me............

It is by whom the ceremony is conducted. That person must meet the state's requirements, and the ceremony can be conducted anywhere so long as the ceremony is conducted by an appropriate person.

It would really be much better if they weren't performed at all. Think of the poor young ladies and gentlemen that lose out on a potential soul mate, because he or she was off gallavanting with members of his or her own gender? Is that really what you want?
