france does, its 117 euros a year. ( about 80 pounds)
the countries that dont, probably do not have nay channels without adverts , ie in the UK BBC1 and 2 have no advert slots. i once got a video episode of neighbours from oz and it was in 3 parts! adverts all the time!!

only the UK i believe so that we can have that wonderful service called the BBC which constantly over pays their staff on TV and radio, shows re-runs of 1970's sit-coms and has the most depressing soap opera ever Eastenders.......

on the flip side they do make cracking natural history programmes and are just getting better at new drama namely the reintroduction of Dr Who.

BBC radio also benefits from the licence but it is really bad.

No, under no circumstances! My community u . s . expenses a cost to each enjoyed ones that owns a television/radio. In return, the well-known public television stations do no longer interrupt their programming for commercials. in the night (from 6pm-8pm), there are commercials between shows yet it incredibly is it. No commercials on the different time :)
