I was hoping someone could tell me about the beaches on the Gulf side in Florida. I am looking for clear water and white sand. Any recommendations? Is there a specific area that is really nice?

Gulf Shores, AL and Orange Beach, AL has really nice beaches. They have spent a lot of money over the years to make them awesome. I've never heard of any sharks there either. Jellyfish are a problem sometime. They also have a lot of rivers and a couple of bays that are fun to jet ski on. If you go, The Keg bar and restaurant has the BEST burgers ever. I miss those burgers.

The Gulf of Mexico has extra useful beaches than the Atlantic. bypass extra south between St. Petersburg and Clearwater, the sand is tender white and sparkling, and the water is emerald green. The sand on the Atlantic component is grainy and somewhat often grimy because of the social gathering cities attracting many human beings throughout spring wreck and the summer season. i like the Atlantic between Maine and Virginia, yet for the wonderful beaches the Gulf is great palms down in my opinion. Have a relaxing summer season!

If you want sugar sand you can go to Panama City Beach, Gulf Shores, Ft. Walton, or on down to Siesta Key.

Ft. Walton has nice white sand. Naples is very nice and clean. Sanibel is not "groomed", so there is a lot of seaweed, but is great for gathering shells. I was just in Naples, as far as swimming and tanning it is one of the best beaches. Not much of a party scene though, all reitrees and their grandkids. Very relaxing.
