Closer to "low", only longer. Like Lowww. If you think of the 'O' in OMG as a short 'O', then this is a 'long O'. It's really hard to describe.

l'eau is pronounced the same way that "low" is pronounced. think of the way that "eau" is pronounced in plateau.
