Sound-level of GPS?

Thinking of getting Garmin Nuvi 360 GPS but concerned that reviews say "low volume" of sound. How to improve this?

Does it have a headphone connector? Not much else I can think of. It won't make it louder, but it will bring the sound closer to your ears.
