I would recommend you see a doctor. It could juts be normal 'spotting' where you have a slight pink bleeding like a mini period. But because this has not been determined the blood could be caused from something else. I would go another clinic if you cannot get in to your doctor today. I hope you get better soon :-)

I really know its easy for me to say but hopefully it really is nothing to worry about. I had light bleeding (had to wear a panty liner for 3-4 days) at 6 and a half weeks pregnant. They said unless the bleeding was like that of a usual period that it was unlikely to be anything to worry about. I had cramps with mine too so if you havent got these that has to be a good thing. The first question the maternity ward asked me when I went in foir a scan was "did you have sex the night before" I hadnt but when I asked why they asked me that they said it was the biggest and most common cause for a bleed in early pregnancy. Apparently the cervix softens and becomes so much more sensitive making it vunerable to bleeding. Im now 15 weeks pregnant and had no further problems. Goodluck and I hope all goes well x

Since you are in the pregnancy forum but haven't actually said you are pregnant -I am making that assumption.
First how far along are you?
I would go to another doctor for today just to be checked.
I don't mean to scare you but between my first 2 children I had a miscarriage-it was as you described light bleeding-no cramping etc. I went to my doctor and he could not find the heartbeat. The bleeding eventually got heavier like a period. However with my third child I also had some spotting in my first trimester and everthing was fine with her.

I had that my at almost 7 months about 3 days after i had intercourse with my husband. I was also going nuts because it was the day of my baby shower that it happened. I also called my doctor and they told me to go to the hospital. i was admitted and they did some tests. My baby was doing good. They told me that it was irritation. That can be brought on by different things, stress, sex etc. I was told i wasn't' allowed to have sex and to take it easy and rest. You did right by calling your doctor in any situation that your not sure of or your experiencing pain or bleeding and so on. You should always contact your doctor. I hope all goes well. Good Luck!

Firstly do not panic. If it is so slight there is no worry. Just take things easy and wait until the nurse calls you back. You don't say how far into your pregnancy you are but a slight show is not necessarily a bad sign and can happen. It did to me and I ended up with a really healthy baby in due time.

In my first three months of pregnancy, I bled about four times. Each time I rushed off to the hospital fearing the worst. I was told not to worry, HA! But they were right, and now my daughter is three. Just try and chill while you wait for the nurse!

How far along are you?
It could be pre term labor or miscarriage?
wait for the nurse to call you or go the hospital and have them check you there.
Doctors offices can get very busy so don't wait around, if your really concerned.

Could be something minor like a small tear. Try not to worry too much, and wait for the nurse to call you back.
