Dude he tried that already in "The Quick and The Dead" and he sucked... so did Sharon Stone...lol... well so did the entire movie, as far as I'm concerned...LOL
I think he's got too much of a "boyish" face to be taken seriously in a western.
He did an EXCELLENT job in the Departed though. I'm not a fan but I've got to give credit where it's due. That was his best performance ever!! He deserved an oscar for that performance.

I would like to see anyone in a western because so few are made and I love westerns. As long as it is not as boring as the Aviator I would watch.

He had a small part in the movie "The Quick and the Dead," which is a modernish western from the '90s. From that, I think he would be able to pull it off. :D

he was in 'the quick and the dead' when he was younger. he actually did really well at that part and i think he would be good in another western. i'd like to see him go up against clint eastwood
