Conservatives, why do you hate liberals?

Seriously, what have I, as a liberal, ever done to you that makes you hate me? I'd like specific examples.

Let me be clear: I don't actually care how you feel about me. I'm just curious because I keep hearing you people complaining that liberals are trying to force you to engage in their lifestyle, so I'd like to know what I'm trying to force you to do that you hate so much.

It's funny that some conservatives claim that we're trying to force them to live a certain lifestyle. We're not the ones trying to pass a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage or trying to get creationism taught in public schools.

I don't think hate is the right word here... even though some conservatives might actually hate liberal and vice vs. the real issue is the lack of dialog. Both sides are so entrenched on the hand full of issues that divide this country (religion, Iraq, etc), that they just more or less emulate the drive by media (left) and the talk radio circuit (right) and just yell at each other and try to make the other look incompetent without actual covering anything!
In this country, most people are more toward the middle but the political landscape makes us concentrate on the few differences and miss out on all the things we agree on.
The situation boils down to divide and conquer. We allow a group of people to rule over us (government) which most of them have only worked in the government because their daddies and mommies were also in politics all their lives (hence why it often seems none of them have a clue since they have never really worked or had to deal with real life). All the while the masses (us) just bicker amongst ourselves about a few things (and worry about who will get Anne Nicole's smith's baby, stupid), while all the time missing out on the fact that these people are spending our money that we work our tails off for and we don't even know on what half the time.

Nah, we don't hate you. We just hate your philosophy which seems to be " you are all sawing the limb off the tree but you are standing on the wrong side of the limb and many of us conservatives are on that same side AND WE DO NOT LIKE IT" Let me be clear, you and your ilk are endangering your country with the ideas and actions you are presently pursuing and you really expect for no one to be upset. Get your head out and smell the roses or whatever you need to do.

I don't hate liberals, but I would prefer that they not try to engage this country in the socialist policies they espouse, such as redistribution of income, etc.

My main problem, as a conservative and not a neo-con, with liberals is that they prefer equality over liberty. Liberty, the freedom to do as I wish with my property and my body and to keep the fruits of my labor, is by far more important.

First, its the liberals that are full of hate and are the hypocrits. They scream tollerance yet show none. If they were tollerant, ID for ex. would be taught. Evolution(a theory proven false) is taught as fact, so should ID.

We hate your views and ideas. Abortion. It is pure evil. No excuses for it.
Libs are generally anti God. They have taken and removed this great countrys foundation.
And yes HOMO-sexuallity (not gay; gay means happy).
someone can practice that lifestyle for all we care but DONT PUSH IT ON US! Gay parades-gay marriage. Keep your gayness to yourself.

You support policies that steal my freedoms.

Social security steals my money and my control over my own retirement. It forces me to pay for people that were irresponsible and did not plan for their own retirement. By stealing my money, you prevent me from being able to save for my own retirement.

Welfare steals my money and my control over my own charity. I must help my fellow man, but I also must be allowed to the freedom to choose when, where, and how I provide that help.

All other social programs are the same (Medicare, prescription drug benefits, nationalized health care, etc.). They all steal my money and my freedom to control my own life.

Affirmative action steals opportunities from my children based on nothing but the color of their skin.

The minimum wage, Unions, and government controls artificially raise the price of goods. These increase my cost of living and send jobs overseas, costing me money and opportunities.

Every liberal policy is the same: steal from one person to give to another. It is the antithesis of freedom. What gives you the right to steal my freedoms? The constitution is supposed to protect us from government so that we can be free.

Liberals do not believe in freedom, they do not believe in the Constitution, and they do not believe in America.

Everybody needs an enemy, and, without the old commie threat of old, Republicans have turned their sights inward, on other Americans. Makes them feel a part of something, limbaugh stuff, to deride what they cannot possibly understand, that is, being a thinker looking for solutions to the real world, not living in some us v them fantasy world.

I'm a conservative and I don't hate liberals. I think they are patriotic Americans. The only problem is your views are misguided, counter productive and socialistic. I have no problems with liberals I just think they are misguided.

Some would call it hate but in general if you have opposing views on just about everything tension will rise and then it comes down to who say something stupid first.
