We can say the letter H just like the non-Jews can. The reason to why we say the kggghh sound in Hebrew it's because it is part of the Hebrew diction. It is the same reason to why Spanish speakers have a rolling r and English speakers have more of a silent r. Also, the Zulus when speaking produce clicking sounds with their tongues.
Linguistics shape our societies as much as religions, histories of different lands and their political structures. There are roughly 5 billion people and I hate to tell you this most of them do not speak English. I for one am fluent in Russian, because I was born in Russia. The Russian language pronounces the letters R S T with a strong pronunciation. So, the word strong would be pronounced ssttrrong.
I hope that this answers your question.

Well, we can. There are Jews in all sorts of places in the world, and everyone of them speaks the native language just fine.
I guess that refutes your theory a bit...
Even in Hebrew we don't have a problem with the "H" consonant (represented by the letter "Heh").
You probably refer to the "Jewish" stereotypical accent that you often hear in movies- Yiddisher accent. The "horrible sound" is the local pronunciation of this consonant.

It's a particular sound in Hebrew that doesn't exist in English. Some of the words in Hebrew do have that sound, and it's hard to write it in English, so the only substitute is "H" for the sound.

Have you ever heard a german person pronounce the 'th' sound? Come on now. I think it's great to hear different accents. Would be so boring otherwise.
