to now have white folks taking the pi** out of Caribbean acents in that ridiculous Trident chewing gum advertisement?
Or, doesn't it matter about the feelings of Caribbeans?

I will answer your question with a question....... Why is OK to imitate a white person Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Scouse, Manc, Brummy but as soon as you do an impression of somebody who is a different colour it is racist?
The people who call this racism are the ones putting up boundaries, when will we realise that everybody is human.

reverse racism is terrible problem now. people are so obessed with preventing prejudice against ethnic minorities, that they are ignoring non-racist incidents.

if a white boy is bullying a black boy, then it's taken seriously and dealt with the way it should be. however, if a white boy is bullying another white boy, not much is done about it.

i am in no way saying that racist attacks are less important than violence towards white people. but, it is discrimination against white people if incidents are not dealt with a zero tolerance attitude.

Equality does not mean the irony in how the British government deals with racism.

Since leaving Liverpool I get the p*ss taken out of my accent every single day and get called a thieving scouse b@stard.

People love stereotypes so things won't change. We all just have to accept it as a part of life.

My advice? Don't take it personally. People are taking one aspect of your culture that is different from theirs and poking fun at it.

Whenever I get sh*t off anyone I give them a bit of sh*t back - it's called banter. Life would be dull without it.

Good luck!

Political correctness gone way too far! We will be scared to mention anything about any other race soon for fear of causing offence. Are we really the only society able to laugh at ourselves?
