Global warming and cooling cycles happen over a very long period of time. The current warming trend has been ongoing now for 18,000 years.
What you're experiencing in Denver is localised weather and it's to be expected at this time of year. March is the snowiest month with an average of 12.6 inches to be expected.
When scientists talk about global warming they're looking at the whole world over long periods of time and being in Denver you'll be aware just how much the weather changes and how quickly it can change.

And in the summer, when you have a dry spell, does 10 drops of rain mean the dry spell is over?
Well, the snow in Denver is like 10 drops compared to the whole Earth!

Because global warming is a myth. It is total BS. First , the temperatures on this planet always have cycled up and down, hence the ice ages. Second, if you seek out the real facts, since 1975 when the global warming crap really got rolling, global temperatures have actually been declining and are now on average nearly 2 degrees cooler than they were 30 years ago. Man can no more influence global temperature than control the wind or even influence which pole is the north pole. The poles switch places every few million years.

Because of global warming it is snowing where it is not suppose to. Global warming, melts things, but they also have to go somewhere, ie, HEAVY RAIN, SNOW, PRECIPITATION. Global warming makes weather wierd, not heats it up only. Because of the heat it upsets the ecosystem and makes things happen faster than it is suppose to. Hurricanes, tonados, etc, ealier and bigger.

The jet stream has shifted to the south and west this year. Denver is getting moisture from the north Pacific that normally would be falling in the northern midwest.

Global warming causes more disturbances to build up. Since you are at a high elevation you're still prone to see snow

thats the scary thing about global warming, everything is unexpected and worst than thought of. I have heard the magnetic poles are switching places and that within the last 5 years chaotic stuff has been happening all over the world, not to include the terrorists. idk, i just hope you like snow. j/k

Irkutsk oblast, Siberia, January 22, 2001 — Temperatures in Siberia had dropped lower than they had in years, and Nina Kuznietsova could not afford to buy firewood. Standing outside in the bone-chilling temperatures for 12 agonizing hours, Nina sold toys on the streets of the Siberian city of Irkutsk during the day. Despite being covered from head to toe in a fur coat, fur hat and boots, the savage weather took its toll. At night, still wearing her coat, she shivered under the covers.
MMMM may be warming could be good?

The hottest temperature on Earth ever recorded most likely occurred in Death Valley, California during 43 consecutive days between July 6 and August 17, 1917.

How *DARE* you ask questions like that?? That's just so.. so.. totally un-politically correct. And you actually seem to -look- at cause and effect relationships instead of blindly believing (like the other 'sheeple') that Al ('I invented the Internet') Gore is the one, and only, true Messiah who will save us all (and Civilization as we know it) from the devastation of 'Global Warming'.
After all...... Why else would Hollywierd give him an Oscar for a Sci-Fi film masquerading as a documentary? Don't you 'believe' that our leaders and the film makers 'know' what's right for us?
You better watch it, Baby, or the thought police are gonna show up at your place some dark night...........
