and if so, where to download it from [when i type it in 'mozilla firefox' i get lots of sites to download it from but i want to if its ok site/browser to download from the right one that is safe, and if you have it, how is it?

firefox is IMO the best browser out there , far far better then IE , and currently my default browser

Firefox is my favorite web browser. It does run a bit slower than IE, but it's way more customizable and secure. If you aren't much of a computer wiz or just don't spend much time browsing you won't use hardly any of the advanced functions Firefox offers. It has an interface very similar to IE so it's an easy transition. If you are just going for security, then go with the Opera web browser. It is the fastest and most secure browser out there.

Yes, Mozilla Firefox is a great browser and it has a great GUI(graphical user interface). If you need to download the installer i would use download.com.

I like it.. i am using it everyday as an alternative to IE. Just make sure u have a lil more memory to spare 'cause it does tend to use more memory (ram) than IE. Other than that.. its all good.. very smooth and reliable and lots of goodies.
