Your friend could probably explain some of this further....It would be a good idea to get a comp card made first. That is the card with your different looks and measurements. Check with local modeling agencies in your areas but beware of them trying to charge you high prices for modeling classes, etc. You can check with your local better business bureau to find out what companies are reputable. They should really only charge you for the comp card (a comp. card at the most, should not be over 250 for you starting out) and then they get a commission on the modeling jobs you actually get. They will send you on what is called "go-sees." Once you get a comp. card, you can also send it to this particular magazine you are interested in. You can also get someone to take a lot of pictures of you and send them to this magazine and agencies. **Please be sure to talk with your parents and get them involved in what you want to do, as you will need them involved due to your age and the nature of the industry. If you are photogenic, you should go for it. Good luck!

On the editor's page in the GL magazine, you will find a list of names, editor, photographer, CEO, etc. Call or email the editor and see if they will provide you with names of the various agencies they use to book models.

Don't worry about that right now. Trying to model while you're young is extremely unhealthy and it could really destroy your health and esteem. Instead put more focus on how business work, fashion, photography, hair style, salon stuff, etc... That way when you're older you will have more knowledge of various field and more doors open to more career plus you'll have more knowledge of modeling field which you can use to your advantage.
