i hav a plastic hula hoop which is quite hard
to use , so i want to make it more weighty
preferably by decorating it with duct tape.
Does any one have any GOOD ideas how i
can make it more weighty?
by the way without buying a new one?

stick with the idea of using duct tape. you dont want it too weight so it is probably the best idea just to do that.

just wrap the tape round the hoop a few times until you reach the desired weight.

OriginalB is correct
try opening from the seam and add some heavy type BBs or even some fishing weights ...... and then close with duck tape or a good quality tape (it may not look really pretty, but it will be heavier)

Can you open it up? The one I used to have was kinda made out of 2 pieces joined together. Maybe you could open it at the seam and put something in it?

drill a hole in it and put either water or sand in it. Then get out the ol'duct tape and cover the hole ;-)
