If you can list some of the fish we can probably help more, but as a rule live bearers are ready to mate by the time they are sold in solds. With egg layers it really depends on the fish. Some are adult and mature when you get them, or sometimes you are buying juveniles that will take up to a year to be ready to breed.

I consider rich D, the electrical powered blue rams are no longer undemanding to return by and sell for a small fortune whilst in comparison with the gold and blue rams. I in basic terms paid £40 5 for a pair (i grow to be fortunate adequate to discover a male and woman) interior the wish that they are going to reproduce. i'm staring at getting yet another pair quickly to enhance the probabilities of them breeding. yet another fish that should make a great earnings is the zebra pleco, i'm not sure that those are extremely undemanding to reproduce nonetheless. those look advertising for around £a hundred and eighty each and each. Any uncommon, renowned fish you may breed and sell is going to make a solid earnings. The fish that are maximum ordinarily bred may well be guppies and different livebearers, yet those heavily isn't extremely worth lots, if something.

Hi there,
I have mollies, swords, guppies, and platties. Some of them i have had for over a year and have never bred for me. Others have bred for me as early as 4mos old. Try feeding them live food, brine shrimp, etc i found that they fry are much healthier and have a stronger servival rate. Hope this helps.

what kind of tropical community fish? every fish is different! are they livebearers or egglayers? what size is your tank?

if you bought them from a fish store, they're old enough to breed. fish stores don't tend to sell on tinies too young to breed, they're not usually looking at their best at that point.
