Why is President Bush Flip-Flopping on Iran?

Now Rice is meeting with Iran and Syria on the Iraq situation. Didn't the President say Iran was one of the "Axis of Evil?" I thought the President said we won't negotiate with terrorists? Isn't Iran providing weapons to the Shia insurgents?

Was all that rhetoric five years ago about the Axis of Evil just saber-rattling to get us spun up for a fight? Say it ain't so!

Bush wants to attack Iraq so bad he creams his jeans every morning! All of that oil! If the Democrats had not taken the House he probably would have already done it!

Won't be the first time we replaced an Iranian elected government by the CIA with our puppet one, the pro US Oil Shaw of Iran!

The United States of America, by directing or authorizing over Rights of Nicaraguan territory, and by the acts imputable to the United States referred to [above], has acted, against the Republic of Nicaragua, in breach of its obligation under customary international law not to violate the sovereignty of another State.
By laying mines in the internal or territorial waters of the Republic of Nicaragua during the first months of 1984, the United States of America has acted, against the Republic of Nicaragua, in breach of its obligations under customary international law not to use force against another State, not to intervene in its affairs, not to violate its sovereignty and not to interrupt peaceful maritime commerce.
The United States of America, by the attacks on Nicaraguan territory referred to [above], and by declaring a general embargo on trade with Nicaragua on May 1, 1985, has acted in breach of its obligations under Article XIX of the Treaty of Friendship, Commerce and Navigation between the Parties signed at Managua on January 21, 1956.
The United States of America, by producing in 1983 a manual entitled 'Operaciones sicológicas en guerra de guerrillas' ("Psychological Operations in Guerrilla Warfare")[12], and disseminating it to Contra forces, has encouraged the commission by them of acts contrary to general principles of humanitarian law; but [the Court] did not find a basis for concluding that any such acts which may have been committed were imputable to the United States of America as acts of the United States of America.
The United States of America had to pay reparations for the damage."

The only way for any semblance of order to happen in the mid-east is to get Iran and Syria involved in talks. I hate Bush as much as the next guy but at least he's willing to give it a chance. (though we'll see for how long it will last). I'm glad he's seeing sense for a change. Keep flip-flopping George! Bring the troops home next!

Can all and varied of the "armchair warriors" in this board supply absolute concrete evidence that Iran is starting to be nuclear weapons? they're starting to be nuclear reactors so as that they might supply potential for his or her u . s . a .. no longer as quickly as have I seen all and varied supply evidence that they are starting to be any weapons. particular, they're enriching uranium yet I very lots doubt that weapons are being created. such quite a few straightforward minded sheep on those boards. such quite a few of them bleating and repeating the "occasion Line" or in spite of Fox information has informed them to think of. If Israel is bothered by those nuclear reactors, enable them to stand on my own and combat Iran all by themselves. human beings are waking up and understanding that the u . s . is dictated by Israel for all time. Why could US squaddies die for Israel??

I think he's wrong to change course.

I am being consistent. I agreed with him when he was being tough, and strongly disagree now.

I would expect, therefore, that the people who disagreed with Bush would find reason to praise him now, for changing course. If they want to be consistent, that is, and not just Bush-bashers.
