during day day is rare tu see one... but at night, damn there's a lot of them.. how come?

I had no idea what you were talking about until I read some of the replies. A roach is a freshwater fish and I have caught them in daylight. You mean cockroaches I think. They have nothing to do with either cocks or roaches. Their name is derived from the Spanish "cucuracha".

because they can move freely so you dont step on them.thats the way new york is as soon as dark hit people are out like roaches.

because they are less of a target to bird who would eat them in the daytime. They evolved before humans were around
