LIghtscribe is an HP Labs invented technology to label the disk. All you need to label a CD aftre you burn data/audio on it is to, turn it upside down and put it back in CD burner , so it can burn TEXT/image in black & white on the LABEL side.........by the burner lightscribe technology. (HP propritory technology )

To get such a feature you need lightscribe cd burner + HP lightscribe cds(only HP lightscribe cds).

Well the cost involved in the burner is almost he same a s conventional cd burner...but the cost of Lightscribe cds can be double the cost of a normal blanks cds.
