I love my house because I have a great view of the city and parks. I live in the city but also outside of it. I have a huge place for but pay little rent in comparison. I have a washer and dryer IN the house! I live with people I actually like!

I, too, live in a rural area and I love the isolation. After being here so long, I can't imagine living somewhere where I couldn't walk out in the yard naked if I wanted to!
There's a relatively famous author that lives in my community. After she got famous, she built a huge mansion practically right on the road, on one of the few main roads through our area. I thought, some people want to plunk their money right on the road so others can see it.
If I got rich and built a mansion, it would be so far out in the woods, no one would know I was there....

Much the same as you - I live in the middle of nowhere. I love the peace and quiet, no crowds, and that I can walk my dog without a lead. The best thing is in the early morning in the spring and summer I see herds of deer (red, roe and Japanese water) because nothng disturbs them.

I don't particularly like were I live, I'd love to live near the ocean, I love the sound of the waves crashing and taking nice slow strolls on the beach with my dog, somewhere like Cornwall would be wonderful.

i love where i live, its a nice little village with village ponds and thatched rooved cottages and no crime very nice place to live, and i work in a city so i get the balance of city life and country life, the only problem is the commute

I live because i have some very special people in my life who love me very much, life's hard enough as it is and without me would only make it harder for them, without them maybe i would not.
