I want to water blast exterior brick and driveway. I would like to use a cleaner for the mold and fungus. Howver, I do not want to harm grass, plants and shrubs.

Do NOT blast brick surfaces with high pressure water. That destroys the bricks barrier against moisture penetration and permanently destroys the bricks surface.

You can easily clean that green mold and mildew off your concrete and brick surfaces with HOT water. Turn your hot water heater up. Take a hose and attach it to the bottom drain on your hot water tank, then run that hose out the window to your spray pump. Set for low pressure and clean the mold and mildew right off with that hot water.

This is a very effective method of removal, as heat itself is much more effective against mold and mildew that chemicals are. Mold and mildew build a cover barrier and enter a dormant state when attacked by chemicals, only to come alive a few days later.

The pressure cleaner will remove everything on it's own but the cleaners mentioned will work also. Soap is a good cleaner but above all remember to wear eye protection with any chemicals you may select as getting them in your eyes could result in serious permanent eye damage!!! (and wear old clothes you don't mind ruining)

Plain old bleach is one of the best cleaners out there. It will clean whatever you want and won't hurt the paint or the plants. Guranteed. Even at full strength it won't hurt pain or plants. I've used it many times. And its a lot cheaper that the fancy cleaners that don't clean half as well.

I have no idea if this would work, but I use a bathroom foaming cleaner to clean my fireplace brick. Safe, and it smells good and works great.

Most all house/deck washes are OK for plants. Just make sure you ready the back of the bottle before you purchase anything.
