Decent machine. I would, however, have the memory bumped up to either 1GB or even better 2 GB. Also upgrade Optical Drive to DVD DVD±RW. The hard drive space looks decent but remember you will need more if you are going to store a fair amount of mp3 files and video. Also hold off on Vista since it's relatively new and is incompatible with a alot of software currently on the market.
